The Manager Credentialing is accountable for establishing and implementing an effective credentialing program essential to meeting contractual, state, federal and accreditation requirements. The Manager is responsible for daily operations associated with the Credentialing department. The Manager is responsible for assuring compliance and continual accreditation readiness with accreditation standards and other licensing and regulatory standards relative to the Medical Staff.
Responsible for all aspects of the Credentialing program, including such activities as: Budgetary responsibility for area of responsibility
Identifies need for and leads staff in development and revision of policies and procedures governing Credentialing
Oversees Provider credentialing to include development, revision and maintenance processes and tools for support of the Credentialing Process
Oversees Provider enrollment with health plans and governmental agencies
Develops audits for Credentialing activities
Provides staff education in audit process
Conducts validation reviews of Associates work to ensure accuracy and completeness
Coordinates and facilitates activities of other participating departments and contracted services in Credentialing Activity
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required
CPCS 18 months upon meeting NAMSS eligibility requirements required
CPMSM 18 months upon meeting NAMSS eligibility requirements required
