Position Summary
Supervisor is responsible for the day to day operations of the hospitalâs patient registration areas, financial counseling, pre-arrival unit, central scheduling and PBX departments. Duties include guidance and coverage for employees, monitoring of quality assurance measures, orientation of new employees and oversight in ongoing staff training. The goal of this position is to ensure high quality service for patients and accuracy of information affecting both pre and post visit services. This position works directly with patients and/or families, insurance companies, hospital department staff and leadership, along with physicians/providers and their offices to ensure the best non-clinical outcomes for the patient.Requirements
- Associate degree. Experience in lieu of degree or combination of college coursework and experience; preferably to be applied business related
- Five years registration and/or medical insurance billing, patient registration, financial counseling and scheduling
- Previous experience in performance improvement activities
- Previous experience and demonstrated skills in a supervisory or lead capacity
- Experience in compliance and healthcare regulations preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The starting pay for this position is $55,280.00 and the pay scale is $55,280.00 - $79,541.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicantâs years of experience align.Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
