SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Nurse Director/charge nurse patients and families are provided competent holistic care based on nursing process. EXPERIENCE: One year medical/surgical experience; one year ICU.Experienced nurses must have ACLS upon hire, graduate nurses and nurses new to Critical Care must attain ACLS within 12 months of hire/transition. OTHER: Basic computer skills LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, ACLS (Advance Cardiac Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association) within 1 year of hire Preferred: CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Nursing, Preferred: Bachelors - Nursing
