Clinical Psychologist (Suicide Prevention Coordinator)
The work conducted by this psychologist is ultimately aimed at improving the mental health and/or physical health of Veterans at elevated risk for suicide and/or their families or communities. The Suicide Prevention Coordinator (SPC) serves to facilitate implementation of suicide prevention strategies at the San Francisco VA Medical Center and Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOC). Basic Requirements: 1. United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. 2.
