Quality Patient Care Manager
Additional Information About the RoleClinical Quality Reporting Department has responsibility for mandatory quality reporting to Medicare and The Joint Commission on behalf of BJC acute care hospitals. The BJC centralized abstraction and reporting team utilizes the electronic medical record for review of patient encounters and third party applications in the reporting process. In addition to responsibility for mandatory reporting the Clinical Quality Reporting team conducts quality and safety reviews of selected patient encounters for complications, and conditions reported to Medicare or The Joint Commission. The abstraction team people manager has a team of 10 direct reports, and works with key stakeholders in the Center for Clinical Excell
