Linen Services Manager
Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryThe Manager, Linen Services is responsible for overall management of the Linen Department functions and personnel at both the UMMC Downtown and Midtown campuses, which operate on a 24 hour, 7 day a week basis. Responsibilities include inventory management, purchasing, and quality control for all departments using linen supplies throughout the hospital. The Manager also oversees the linen contract and external management contracts. He/she upholds linen standards and works collaboratively across the hospital to meet performance expectations. The Manager is responsible for UMMC's linen services labor force, which consists of both unionized and non-unionized staff.
