Providence Medical Group is looking to hire a Designated Institutional Official (DIO) physician (0.5 FTE) to provide leadership and oversight for all Graduate Medical Education (GME) operations. The DIO develops and implements strategies for continued GME excellence, and is responsible for the establishment and oversight of residency and fellowship programs sponsored by Providence St. Joseph Health, as well as responsible for ensuring compliance with all institutional and program requirements for the Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). This position also plays a role in the development and implementation of the strategic plan for GME at the regional and system level.
