Registered Nurse - Hospice Care
The Registered Nurse (RN), on the 10-bed Hospice Cottage, provides high quality care for Veterans, with a terminal diagnosis and prognosis of less than six months. Care emphasis is on the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual needs of Veterans and their families. RNs are responsible/accountable for all elements of the nursing process during end of life patient care with the goal to improve quality of life, diminish pain and to increase comfort. See Duties section for more. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency.
