Job DescriptionGeneral SummaryUnder limited supervision, the RN Cardiac Cath Recovery Room is responsible for the assessment and monitoring of patients after undergoing cardiac catheterization/intervention, electrophysiology studies, device implantations, moderate sedation and other designated procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization laboratory. Additional duties include preparation prior to the procedure as well as after the procedure, sheath pulling, groin management, patient education and discharging patients.
