The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center is expanding the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist physician with BC/BE Pediatric Sleep Medicine to join our busy, dynamic Section of Pediatric Pulmonology.
Opportunity Highlights
- Provide outstanding inpatient and outpatient care
- Work with the four full time Pediatric Pulmonologists
- Dedicated and specialty trained nurses and respiratory therapists
- Pediatric Pulmonary Function and Sleep Laboratories
- Teaching medical students and residents
- Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate/work with interdisciplinary teams
- 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department and PICU in house attending coverage
- Research opportunities
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey medical license
- Excellent skills, both in patient care and teaching
- Team player, positive attitude, highly motivated
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Interpretation of sleep studies and pulmonary function tests
- Expertise in Pediatric flexible bronchoscopy
- Be eligible for faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine
