Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY
Performs ultrasound procedures in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures to ensure the best possible patient care services are delivered.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Reviews radiology exam requests and patient identification to ensure safe, appropriate and cost-effective imaging. Maternal Fetal Medicine and high-risk OB scanning experience preferred.

Monday - Fri. 7:45am-4:15pm or 8am - 4:30pm No Weekends No Holidays

* Applies broad range of skills to ensure exam is completed timely and meets quality and compliance standards.
* Provides appropriate radiation protection to patient, staff and self according to prescribed safety standards.
* May be designated as an interim shift lead in the absence of the Radiology Technologist Team Lead.
* Assists in the orientation and training of new staff.

* Radiology (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of radiology services in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job.
* Anatomy & Physiology Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of anatomy and physiology knowledge in practical applications of a difficult nature. Possesses sufficient knowledge, training, and experience to be capable of successfully delivering results without requiring support and instruction from others. Able to train and educate by setting the example, giving instruction, providing leadership, and generally raising the level of performance of others while on the job.
