The schedule for this position will be: Tuesday-Saturday 6:00am-3:00pm
Responsibilities:
Ensure that all staff members possess the necessary skills, training, and competency to conduct the work of the ToxAssure lab.
Initiate and implement all adjustments and remedial actions necessary to maintain satisfactory operation and performance of the laboratory.
Provide leadership to all department team members and promote a positive environment.
Cover all aspects of the ToxAssure process which includes the receiving/storage process, medication entry, extractions, LCMSMS, screening and certification.
Trained in all areas to be able to provide coverage if needed to maintain production.
Monitor daily workflow in the lab and schedule adequate assay coverage.
Manage inventory of stock levels of QC material and supplies needed in all areas.
Develop and implement quality assurance measures to monitor department efficiency and improve processes.
Perform bench work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in technical operations.
Research and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary.
Ensure consistent application of LabCorp policies and procedures.
Monitor performance and time management for employees under direct supervision.
Assist in planning for adequate personnel and equipment.
Other administrative tasks as requested by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in chemical, physical or biological sciences required.
A minimum of 5 years of clinical laboratory testing experience required.
Toxicology and managerial experience preferred.
