The Program Coordinator for the Advanced Practice Provider Fellowship and APP Education & Onboarding is a member of a dynamic team of 200+ APPs in an oncology setting. The Program Coordinator primarily works under the direction of the Program Manager with opportunities for professional development and growth. This position requires an individual who can contribute to the ongoing success of the APP and APP Fellowship Programs and is committed to continuous process improvement. A team player with integrity, an ability to shift work priorities quickly, and who can also work independently and collaboratively will be integral to the success of achieving the mission and goals of the program. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization and communication skills (verbal and written), the ability to work in an environment that interfaces with multiple organizations, sites, and stakeholders, be professional, focused, detail-oriented, resourceful, and responsive to program needs.
Responsibilities
- Assists with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new APP Fellows.
- Organizes and provides support for APP Fellowship and APP Education meetings and lectures, as needed
- Creates/maintains clinical rotation calendar and clinical orientations in coordination with the Onboarding/Education Coordinators.
- Creates and maintains policies and program documents
- Performs administrative duties including supply orders, IT requests, distributing mail, reimbursement requests, etc.
- Assists with creation/maintenance of materials to obtain APP Fellowship accreditation.
- Coordinates and supports fellowship and new APP didactic schedules in collaboration with Fellowship Program Directors and Onboarding/Education Coordinators.
- Assists with fellowship application processes, interview coordination, and preparation of materials
- Attend meetings and take minutes, as needed
- Collaborate with APP and Med Staff Office Program Coordinators on projects and initiatives
- Actively participates in upholding and increasing program morale and team building
- Administrative support as needed to Fellowship Program Directors and Program Manager including meeting/didactic scheduling.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Two years of work experience in an administrative role (clinical, medical, or hospital environment preferred)
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to review work with attention to detail and accuracy; to think critically about problems
- Ability to work professionally and flexibly in a fast-paced and complex health care environment
- Proficiency in Zoom and MS Office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel required
- Ability to work with initiative, use sound judgement, and prioritize concurrent responsibilities and demands
- Ability to communicate verbally in person, on the phone, and in writing, in a professional, clear, and concise manner
- Demonstrated commitment to integrity and quality in work and in interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated initiative as evidenced by advancing technical skills, sharing knowledge with others, and taking on more responsibility, participating in continual learning.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team as the situation requires, collaborating with multiple organizations, sites, and stakeholders.
- Ability to give and receive feedback, open to discussion on areas of strength and areas for improvement.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $28.34 to $40.35 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
