Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Our Pharmacy is looking to hire an experienced Pharmacist to join their growing team!

Role Overview:

• Serve as a fully coordinated member of the Pharmacy Department to provide advanced clinical pharmacy services.
• Oversee IV preparation and compounding extemporaneous formulations
• Responsible for reviewing and processing inpatient orders
• May be required to cover other inpatient areas and the IV clean room.

Key Qualifications:

• PharmD (or equivalent).
• Valid NY Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital pharmacy setting
• Strong computer skills and the ability to develop a good understanding of pharmacy systems

• Readily take on challenges, without unnecessary planning.
• Able to handle and manage crises effectively.
• Known to deliver messages in a clear, compelling, and concise manner.
• Able to follow through on commitments and act with a clear sense of ownership.
• Resourceful and make sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information.

Additional Information:

• Shift: 5 days a week; 3:30PM-11:30PM; rotating every 3rd weekend, up to every other weekend. Rotating holidays.
• Location: E. 68th Street
• Reporting to: Manager, Pharmacy

Pay Range: $60.93-$100.62
