Offering an exceptional opportunity, Carilion Clinic (CC) and the Department of Surgery, Section of Urology in Roanoke, Virginia are searching for a urologist to join our growing team of six urologists in a clinic-based, academic program with remarkable prospects in teaching, research, and clinical urology. This is a great chance to join a dynamic, academic multi-specialty group practice providing comprehensive, multi-disciplinary care for adults and children. We are looking for a Roanoke based surgeon to care for patients in the outpatient office along with additional OR responsibilities supported by state-of-the-art technology, advanced diagnostic tools and treatment options including Da Vinci Robots (Xi, X, and SP), ultrasound, and MRI guided prostate biopsy.
Based in the Level-1 763-bed trauma and academic health center, Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital/Carilion Children’s Hospital, our program provides comprehensive urology coverage to over one million people in a large, rural, multi-state area. Urology services are also provided in several other Carilion hospitals, including Carilion New River Valley Medical Center, Carilion Giles Community Hospital, and Carilion Rockbridge Community Hospital. The section operates clinics in five satellite locations in the region. Clinical pathology is exceptionally broad, and our urologists perform the full breadth of procedures of all levels of complexity.

MD/DO, Board Certification/Eligible in Urology
Fellowship Training in a Urologic specialty is preferred
Evidence of strong communication and interpersonal skills
Interest in teaching and/or research
