This healthcare professional will demonstrate and serve as an expert in the role of practitioner, consultant, educator, and health professional. Prescribes or recommends pharmacologic and non pharmacologic therapies including controlled medications. Improves clinical and cost outcomes for key patient populations through collaboration with physicians and staff and by participating in strategic initiatives. Assures competent and ethical care of patients and families. To accomplish this goal the provider will work both autonomously and in collaboration with the medical staff and supervising physician, maintain a quality, customer-focused, nursing and medically appropriate approach to patient assessment, care plan development and implementation, follow-up to outcomes, and cost-effective delivery of services. Participates in research activities as appropriate.

Education:
Nurse Practitioner Certification required.
Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number assigned. OR Current State of Ohio Certification, National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Current BLS required, ACLS preferred.
