BJC HealthCare is looking for a Sr. Marketing Strategist to take charge of marketing and communication needs at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital and Progress West Hospital.
This role interacts with department leads and hospital leadership to develop marketing strategies to support hospital goals.
Hybrid opportunity, on-site minimum of two days a week.

Role Purpose
Leads marketing activities that support service line or HSO campaigns, projects and events. Works under the direction of marketing and communications leadership to lead activities related to the planning, developing, implementation and measurement of marketing, e-marketing and communications programs for the assigned service lines.
Responsibilities
Provides guidance and strategic direction to senior team leaders, and HSO and service line/department leadership and develops/implements plans using e-marketing, collateral production, social media, content development, sponsorship/partnership support and clinical service line marketing. Oversees work of other team members and shared services.
Leads planning, development and production of consumer and physician marketing materials for the organization and all its facilities, including physician outreach, patient education, and general and targeted consumer outreach. Interviews, writes, coordinates, produces and distributes marketing content; serves as editor of publications and collateral materials to ensure target messaging. Serves as liaison with HSO and department leadership.
Works with senior HSO and university leadership to prioritize service lines, analyze preference data and provide strategic oversight toward implementation of clinical service line marketing plans; provides input/recommendations on budget needs. Assists with tactical duties including research, interviews, writing, approvals, consents, production and distribution.
Identifies marketing and/or communications infrastructure needs and analyses metrics to measure ROI. Creates and implements plans to effectively address deficiencies. Evaluates effectiveness and proactively seeks opportunities for ongoing improvement. Monitors and tracks employee/consumer issues and concerns and prepares reports to support planning initiatives.
Consults with satellite facilities to ensure strategic integration via partnership; Provides direction on developing partnerships with businesses and organizations in executing the marketing plan.
