As the Assistant to the Chair, you will provide high-level
administrative support to the Chair of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. Your
role will encompass a wide range of administrative duties, ensuring smooth and
efficient operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Schedule meetings, conferences, travel
arrangements and maintain calendars (high-volume).
Prepare executive correspondences and assist
with recording data and creating reports.
Logistic support and large event planning,
both virtual and in-person.
Process travel and expense reimbursements.
The full annual salary range for this position is $63,800.00 - $127,000.00/year.
Please note - the
department’s target pay range is $63,800.00 - $95,000.00.
Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
(e.g. 3 years of relevant experience).
·Strong customer service skills.
·Excellent communication skills, both written
and verbal.
·Superb organizational and time management
skills.
·Excellent calendar management and scheduling
skills.
·Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
·Previous relevant experience, preferred.
·Knowledge of Travel Express, BruinBuy, and
general UC accounting procedures is a plus.
