Join our Venice Family Clinic as an Engagement and Outreach Manager and use your expertise to grow your career while making a difference in the communities we serve. This key role will receive guidance and direction from the Director of Events and Marketing, and will be responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive outreach, engagement and acquisition program that builds a robust pipeline of donors, volunteers, partners, community advocates and influencers to advance the mission of our Venice Family Clinic.
Responsibilities include:
Stakeholder Engaging:
Implementing an acquisition and outreach strategy to recruit new philanthropic supporters, volunteers and other key advocates to Venice Family Clinic.
Creating a pipeline through "boots on the ground" activities to provide stewardship and foster relationships among various constituencies.
Researching individuals and organizations for event or marketing partnerships to raise the Clinic’s awareness in key markets.
Meeting aggressive donor acquisition and revenue generation goals.
Building alliances and supporters within the Clinic’s diverse service area.
Cultivating a portfolio of event attendees and art buyers as philanthropic supporters.
Direct Marketing and Fundraising:
Implementing customized multi-channel direct marketing efforts that appeal to targeted and diverse demographics.
Planning, scheduling, and implementing fundraising campaigns, including audience identification, collateral creation and social media outreach, in collaboration with annual fund team that will drive engagement and donations.
Community Events:
Designing community events to raise awareness for the purpose of engaging prospective supporters.
Overseeing the execution of community-focused and partner events.
Performing other administrative functions, including budget, invoicing, and metrics tracking and reporting.
Traveling to other sites and for events as needed.

This is hybrid role requires the incumbent to work on site at least 2-days per week; will be required to work fully on-site for the first 3-months.
Salary offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, and equity. The full salary range for this position is $83,800.00 - $179,400.00 Annual. The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is about $83,800.00 Annual.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree
Three to five years of experience in development with at least three years of experience specifically in fundraising and marketing.
Fearless solicitor of donations with a proven track record in prospect identification, solicitation, and stewardship.
Proven self-starter with the ability to work independently or collaboratively to achieve ambitious goals.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the agility to respond to shifting priorities; proven ability to set priorities, bring projects to completion, and meet multiple deadlines with a high degree of autonomy.
Strong interpersonal skills, patience and persistence, and the ability to build and cultivate relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills; demonstrates active and genuine listening skills, timely and professional communication, and excellent written communication skills.
Sound judgment skills and solution-based approaches to challenges.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software .
Commitment to continuous learning and staying abreast of new developments and best practices.
Ability and willingness to travel (to offsite meetings, events and sites) and work events on evenings and weekends as needed.
Experience with donor databases (Salesforce or an equivalent system) is highly preferred.
