Role Purpose
The Director will lead a cross-functional team and initiatives to enhance the digital marketing strategies that support our consumers and patients throughout their journey with BJC Health System. This person will direct and lead digital product management, UX, development, and content management functions to reimagine our digital marketing and website experiences to reduce friction, serve our communities across the enterprise, and deliver on business outcomes for BJC. With consumer expectations rising rapidly in the health care environment, it is critical that this person has the capability and experience to drive digital transformation efforts while collaborating closely and effectively with Marketing, IT, Data, Operations, and other stakeholders. To thrive in this opportunity, you must be a data driven leader with a deep understanding of website development, user experience research and design, product management, and a passion for leveraging digital marketing technologies to drive change.
Responsibilities
Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: onboarding and hiring, training, workload management & performance evaluations, conducting professional development plans as needed. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
Develops and adheres to departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets. Responds to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals.
Operations Management: Develop and articulate clear product vision and roadmap that aligns with Enterprise objectives and customer needs, leveraging data driven customer insights, performance analytics, and market research for various initiatives across our digital experience, driving MarCom value and business growth. Balance BAU MarCom demand with Digital Operations initiative focus and priorities.
Experience Specification: Document the "what" and "why" behind each digital initiative, aligning with the broader Enterprise strategy to ensure a cohesive vision and customer experience. Gather and document business and technical/functional requirements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to define digital requirements, prioritize features, and drive consensus on product priorities and trade-offs in close collaboration with key stakeholders across MarCom, IT, Data, and business teams.
Product Development: Lead digital operations and development teams for the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept ideation and requirements gathering to design, development, testing, and launch, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of digital experiences.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing digital operations team capable of executing innovative digital experiences.
