We seek dynamic and innovative clinicians and researchers with a focus on diabetes to join our growing team dedicated to advancing clinical excellence and groundbreaking research.
The Assistant/Associate Professor will participate in:
Clinical Care: Deliver exceptional patient care with a focus on diabetes, with access to state-of-the-art facilities and multidisciplinary support.
Research Opportunities: Engage in cutting-edge research supported by robust infrastructure, including the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center with direct integration of research at the point of care, the Oregon Clinical and Translational Research Institute (OCTRI), and the ability to leverage multiple platforms and cores for biomedical research. OCTRI has been funded as a Clinical and Translational Science Award recipient since 2006.
Academic Environment: Contribute to our mission through teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to ongoing advancements in diabetes research and care.

About OHSU Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Clinical Nutrition
The OHSU Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Clinical Nutrition comprises of a group of academic physicians, allied health professionals, and advance practice providers actively involved in the education, research, and clinical care in general endocrinology, including: diabetes and metabolism, lipids and clinical nutrition, and bone and mineral disorders. The Division supports a variety of activities with specialty clinics including the Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center, the only academic health center in the region and the only clinic in the Pacific Northwest that cares for children and adults in one location.
The Harold Schnitzer Diabetes Health Center (HSDHC) is the only center in the Pacific Northwest that cares for children and adults living with diabetes in one location. Accredited by the American Diabetes Association, the HSDHC meets the highest standards for diabetes care and education. The center is also one of the few in the country to provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary model of diabetes care that includes endocrinology providers, collaborating with certified diabetes care and education specialists, nurses, physician assistants, and dieticians, clinical pharmacists, psychologists, and social workers all on site.

Unrestricted Oregon medical license and/or ability to obtain
Board eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology
Demonstrated commitment to educational excellence in a clinical setting
