Overview
Beebe Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Cardiovascular Program Coordinator to drive excellence within our Cardiovascular Service Line. This pivotal role involves planning, organizing, and coordinating specific cardiovascular programs, ensuring seamless care and superior outcomes. The coordinator will interface closely with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff, to provide comprehensive care for patients involved in specialized programs such as:
Lower Extremity Vein Procedures
Valvular Disease Interventions
Atrial Fibrillation Procedures
As a key contributor, the RN Cardiovascular Program Coordinator will ensure program alignment with evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and organizational goals, fostering innovation and growth within the service line.
Responsibilities
Serve as a clinical expert, providing staff education and resources to achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain and apply current knowledge through ongoing education and research.
Coordinate and oversee clinical operations, including patient scheduling, tracking, and follow-ups.
Collect, analyze, and report program data to identify trends and create actionable improvement plans.
Ensure compliance with accreditation, regulatory, and policy standards through audits and chart reviews.
Manage equipment, inventory, and assist in technology assessment and implementation.
Collaborate with leadership, physicians, and staff to maintain effective communication and teamwork.
Support budgeting, charge accuracy, and payer authorization processes.
Plan and coordinate new procedures, equipment, and staff education.
Oversee patient databases, including data input, updates, and follow-ups.
Identify opportunities for program growth, branding, and community education in collaboration with marketing and physicians.
Monitor program outcomes and address any trends or opportunities for improvement
Qualifications
3-5 years clinical experience preferred in care of cardiac patient.
One year experience in management or leadership preferred.
Prefer 1-2 years experience in procedural environment, i.e. cath lab, OR, vein center.
Proficient in verbal and written English with excellent telephone and customer service skills.
Ability to deal with multiple tasks in a rapidly changing environment.
Ability to relate well with people of diverse backgrounds, training and experience.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong computer skills, esp. related to spreadsheets and data management.1-2 years experience with Registries or chart audits.
