JOB SUMMARYThe Medication Access Specialist coordinates with providers and local pharmacies to assist in the technical aspects of the distribution of medication refills and related functions for improving patient care. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLEAnswers incoming phone calls and responds to the needs of the caller and/or directs them to the appropriate person for service in a professional manner.Works as a patient liaison between the pharmacy and the clinic providers.
