The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Tampa

The role you’ll contribute:

Primary duties include cleaning and maintaining the grounds. work to include:  All exterior trash disposal including trash collection from entrances, lots, designated buildings, and grounds. Continuous patrol of all parking areas and grounds surrounding and including patio area plus designated buildings. 

Power washing entrances and specified areas of the campus as set by cleaning schedule. Parking lot maintenance that includes signs, car stops, minor road repair and minor landscaping.  Assisting with all exterior improvement, and maintenance with graffiti removal, minor weed control, fence repair, set up and removal of barricades and cones in designated parking areas. Maintains and is responsible for equipment, owned or rented by facility. Has a valid and clean driver’s license and can operate a vehicle in a safe manor. Daily garage upkeep and restock of information

Hospital operates 24 hours per-day 365 days per-year. Must be able to work, days and times with less volumes of visitors and employees. Can provide clear directions to visitors and staff to locations, services, and buildings.

·  Responsible for all exterior trash disposal including daily trash collection from trash cans and designated buildings, continuous patrol of campus, including median island on 138^th Ave and garage for litter collection and cleaning of cans.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

·  Prior experience as a laborer, gardener, groundskeeper, farmer, or similar work involving general labor duties which include the planting and maintenance of vegetation, landscaping, and trash collection.
·  Minimum 2 years general grounds maintenance experience.
·  Minimum 3 years pressure washing experience.
·  Driver’s license- valid and clear of any violations
