SUMMARY: The Nursing Professional Development Director incorporates the roles of facilitator, change agent, consultant, leader, advocate, and researcher in the learning process to support the development and/or maintenance of competence for the provision of excellence in care delivery. The Director facilitates a culture of lifelong learning and professional engagement across the organization. Adopts and authentically role models a professional identity in nursing: Values & Ethics, Knowledge, Nurse as Leader, and Comportment. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 5 years as a direct care RN Minimum of 5 years in nursing professional development (experience in nursing academia considered equivalent).
