Position Summary
This position will train on injury prevention as it relates to Teen Driving and ATV Safety. This is a grant funded position. Prefer someone who has experience driving ATV’s and likes working outdoors. Prefer someone with experience teaching Teens. Must be able to create and deliver presentations. Need a valid driver’s license. Must be able to work weekends.
This position is responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of injury prevention efforts that meet individual, group, provider, organization, and community need. The position interfaces with the community as an ambassador of the hospital and Phoenix Children’s staff. The position fulfills job expectations by completing targeted needs assessments, providing strategic and effective interventions, and evaluating and researching program impact.
Education
Bachelors degree in public health, health education or related field. (Required)
Master?s degree in public health, health education, or related field. (Preferred)
Experience
One (1) year of experience in program development/program implementation (Required)
One (1) year of experience in working with children, families, and/or community groups (Required)
One (1) year of experience in project management (Required)
Experience leading groups (Required)
Certifications
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or obtained within 90 days of start date. (Required)
