Description
This is a lab assistant position located in CHS. Duties include answering phone, route phone calls and emails to the appropriate person or department occasionally deliver items in person to other departments or colleges. Assist scientist and researchers in conducting various test and experiments. Main duties include preparing test samples, keeping lab records and documenting test findings.
This is a student position at 49% time, must be an undergraduate UCLA student.
Salary: $19.90 - $23.04 hourly
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be a responsible person.
- Basic knowledge of office procedures.
- Ability to interact with co-workers and study participants professional in a manner.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Communicate clearly in email and orally for telephone calls.
- Experience working with lab equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
