Registered Nurse- 4NW Step Down/Telemetry
The Telemetry/Stepdown Registered Nurse(RN) provides high-quality, evidence-based care for Veteran patients who are admitted to the inpatient setting for an acute medical-surgical problem, require diagnostic treatments that cannot be facilitated in the outpatient setting, and who commonly require telemetry/cardiac monitoring. Will recognize early signs & symptoms & medical treatment of dysrhythmias, performs assessment & reassessment of the medical-surgical patient, and treat pain appropriately. Basic Requirements: English Language Proficiency. In accordance with 38 U.S.C. 7403(f), no person shall serve in direct patient care positions unless they are proficient in basic written and spoken English. Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by the appropriate accrediting agency
