The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Behavioral Health Program Coordinator to join the UCLA Aftercare Program. This outpatient program provides psychiatric services to individuals with recent-onset schizophrenia, combined with voluntary participation in research protocols. Primary responsibilities include:
Coordinate and assist in intervention meetings facilitated by program coaches and trainers
Organize and lead computer-based cognitive training programs
Co-facilitate weekly Bridging Groups with psychology practicum students and interns, including training them to serve as co-facilitators
Collaborate with aerobic exercise instructor to train practicum students and interns in administering motivation and physical activity measures, including questionnaires and cognitive training recordings
Train and supervise graduate students in using automated text-messaging programs and moderate online social therapy platforms for patients
Screen, interview, and select program applicants
Manage data collection, track progress, and oversee data file organization for cognitive training measures
Monitor attendance records and ensure accurate documentation
Participate in developing and delivering oral and written reports on research outcomes
Salary range: $71,500/yr - $154,900/yr
Qualifications
Advanced degree in a behavioral health field (MSW, MFT, PhD, PsyD)
Valid CA license in a behavioral health discipline
Experience or training in cognitive remediation, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and other interventions
