The Semel Institute is seeking to hire a Limited Part time SRA 1 to serve for 5 months. In this role you would serve as the study coordinator for a newly NIH funded project. You would play an important role on this R21 project. Specifically, you would perform the following duties:
Assist the PIs in carrying out the NIMH project aims and protocol objectives by organizing documents and files
Assist with interfacing with Razi University Hospital faculty (in Tunis) and trainees via email and ZOOM meetings who are conducting research activities for the project
Responsible for assisting the PI with keeping track of UCLA IRB requirements NIMH required documents by putting those files in a folder.
Assist in database development, recording correspondence between the UCLA PI and the sub-award PI at Razi University Hospital by entering data or information in Excel or SPSS
Assist in organizing PI’s training seminars by cataloging the electronic versions of training videos located on UCLA websites, administration manuals, and rating forms, and distributing those materials to the Razi University Hospital faculty and trainees.
You will organize rating forms that are used by the PI in training seminars will be collected, put into an excel spreadsheet to be used for analysis of interrater reliability and the determination of rater certification.
Assist the PI in conducting a Quality Assurance (QA) Program that guards against assessment rater drift by scheduling meeting and collecting forms.
Pay Range: $26.52 -$31.63 hourly

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field is preferred.
Experience working with data gathered from clinical populations specifically of psychiatric patients
Strong interpersonal skills in working with an interdisciplinary team of research assistants, psychologists, and psychiatrists.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with co-workers, peers, who are research staff and mental health professionals
Demonstrated history of reliability for being on time for meetings and meeting work deadlines.
Careful attention to detail and meticulous organizational skills along with a self-starting nature.
Familiarity with clinical research protocols and ability to input data using software programs such as Excel and SPSS on websites.
Ability to use a desktop or laptop computer to interface with internet search engines such as google chrome.
Knowledge of how to use Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook needed to schedule meetings
Ability to arrange a flexible work schedule during the hours of 9 AM to 5 PM work week.
