Responsibilities
Pediatrix® Medical Group seeks a Neonatologist to join its well-established practice in Plant City, part of the Tampa Bay market.
- This position will cover the Level II NICU at South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City
- If desired, there is an opportunity to rotate through the 76-bed Level-IV NICU at St Joseph Women's Hospital in Tampa
- Schedule will consist of daytime rounding and evening call from home
- Must live in a 30 minute response time from South Florida Baptist Hospital in Plant City
- The neonatologists are supported by NNPs providing night coverage
- The team consists of 16 neonatologists, 5 neonatal hospitalists and 14 NNPs who provide care to patients at hospitals within the Baycare System

- 7-bed Level II NICU
- Located in Plant City, halfway between Tampa and Lakeland
- Part of the Baycare family of health care facilities
- Brand new facility that opened in Spring 2024
