OverviewThe PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency is a one-year residency that offers experiences in the areas of internal medicine, therapeutic drug monitoring, pharmacy practice management, pediatrics, cardiology, and critical care and a selection of elective rotations designed to provide a well rounded clinical pharmacy experience. The emphasis of this program is developing self-directed learners who will incorporate service, teaching, and scholarly activity into their practice. The pharmacy practice residents are involved in scholarly activities throughout the year. The research conducted by the residents is displayed at national meetings and submitted for publication.
