Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities & Duties ? Hybrid position (Inpatient/Outpatient responsibilities) ? Orders electrophysiology studies and diagnostic tests to evaluate heart rhythm disorders ? Interpret test results and develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists ? Provide patient education regarding heart conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications ? Monitor and adjust medications for heart rhythm management ? Perform follow-up assessments to ensure the efficacy of treatments and interventions ? Manage emergency situations related to cardiac conditions ? Participate in research activities and clinical trials within the field of electrophysiology ? Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records ? Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans ? Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrophysiology through continuing education ? Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing electrophysiology studies and interventions
