The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine seeks a pediatric gastroenterologist with a strong interest in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease
The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at Duke University School of Medicine is thrilled to announce openings for pediatric gastroenterologists to join our dynamic and growing team. We are currently seeking candidates for two distinct positions:
General Community Pediatric Gastroenterology: Candidates with broad gastroenterology interests are encouraged to apply.
Neurogastroenterology: Candidates with expertise or interest in manometry evaluations are encouraged to apply.
Eligible candidates must hold an MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree and be board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Pediatrics in Pediatric Gastroenterology.
The Duke Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition specializes in pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and nutritional disorders. The division comprises nine physicians, three outpatient nurse practitioners, four inpatient nurse practitioners, and four dietitians and provides state-of-the-art diagnostic procedures and comprehensive therapeutic services for common and rare pediatric gastroenterology diseases. Duke has the most extensive pediatric liver transplant program in North Carolina and the surrounding region, a robust living donor program, and a growing intestinal/multivesicular transplant program. The division collaborates on patient care with the Divisions of Pediatric Surgery, Transplant Surgery, Otolaryngology, and others through multidisciplinary clinical teams.
