DescriptionSummary:Provides comprehensive cardiac care under physician supervision. Follows established nursing protocols, delegates to support staff, and evaluates and adjusts patient care. Coordinates diagnostics and treatments, maintains accurate charting, and facilitates referrals and consults. Conducts physical exams, prescribes medications and therapies, and performs specialty procedures as credentialed.Key ResponsibilitiesPractice in accordance with Texas Board of Nursing and APN scope of practice.Assess, diagnose, and manage acute, chronic, and preventative cardiac conditions in various care settings.Obtain patient histories, perform physical exams, and interpret lab/radiology results.
