Seeking ** Per Diem** Pediatric Nurse Practioners who would like to join our Tacoma General Hospital Team to cover our Well-Baby Nursery
Responsibilities
Newborn Nursery with an ADC of 12, 8 hour shifts.
Seeking ongoing per diem coverage partnership
Qualifications
Current APRN national specialty certification
Minimum of a masterâ™s degree
Seeking PNP's with Newborn nursery experience.
Active WA license in good standing
Prefer local candidates, within commute
Benefits and Compensation
Pay Range Starts at (Hourly Pay): $59/hr
Health Insurance: Pediatrix does not offer health insurance for team members in a Per Diem role.
Per-diem is defined as team members who are scheduled as needed and not on a consistent basis.
Other Benefits: Sick Pay Bank; Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Retirement Benefits: Pediatrix does not offer retirement benefits for team members in a Per Diem role.
Paid Time Off: Pediatrix does not off paid time off for team members in a Per Diem role.
Paid Sick Leave: Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washinton under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave âœPSSLâ time in a lump sum.
Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.
NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
