Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.
Under the general direction of the Sr. Psychologist, Supv/Supervising Psychiatric Social Worker I , the Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), works in Mental Health Services. The MFT diagnose and treat mental and emotional disorders within the context of marriage, couples and family systems, the scope of the applicable Business and Professions Code(s), and license. Incumbents shall refer incarcerated patients to other licensed health care professionals in accordance with standardized procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensure: Possession of a valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the California Board of Behavioral Science.
