Job SummaryPerforms the daily procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory including catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants/removals/upgrades, tilt table tests, direct current cardioversions, cardiac lead extractions, electrophysiology studies and left atrial appendage closures. Practice of sterile technique preparing for procedure including scrubbing, applying surgical gown, gloving, draping and setup of instrument table. Meets the qualifications to provide care for patients in the specific age range in their assigned laboratory.Job DutiesEnsures correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared for exam, and that clinical history is corroborated and appropriately documented while respecting confidentiality.Ut
