Radiology Technologist Mammography - Per Diem
Job SummaryMammography Technologists are responsible for the administration of ionizing radiation and multi-frequency sound waves for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. A mammographer performs breast imaging procedures and acquires and analyzes data, including mammographic and sonographic images needed for diagnosis, at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Mammography Technologists independently perform or assist the licensed practitioner in the completion of mammographic and sonographic breast imaging procedures. Mammography Technologists prepare, administer and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with federal and state laws, regulations, or lawful institutional policy.
