Indiana University Health Medical Group is hiring! Join our compassionate team at Riley Hospitalfor Children in downtown Indianapolis! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our driven Neurosurgery team!
Position Details:
Full-time, Days
2-12-Hour shifts (Days) and 2-8-Hour shifts (PM)
Saturday 6a-6p-Every other weekend
Sunday 6am-6pm- Every other weekend
Rotating every other weekend (2 weekends/month)
95% Inpatient
5% Outpatient
No Call
Team includes 15 Physicians and 30 Advanced Practice Providers
This is an innovative department, and we are building a team to grow more neuroscience programs that lead the transformation in the prevention, treatment, and cure of neurological disorders. We are working to grown more rewarding work.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialty surgical care in the pediatric inpatient setting in the intensive care and patient care units
There is a variety of neurosurgery subspecialties from general Neurosurgery, Trauma, Oncology, Spacity and Cerebrovascular patients
Rounds, manage patients for post operative care to medical management
Perform bedside procedures and discharges patients in the inpatient setting
The ideal candidate would preferably have general knowledge of neurological deficits and disorders
