SUMMARY: The Senior Accounting Analyst applies business processes and analytical skills in a dynamic environment to support the reporting of the organization's financial results. Responsibilities include: Contributing to the month-end financial close process, preparing analysis and reconciliations, and various accounting operational reporting, as well as offering support for other accounting personnel by acting as a backup and giving general operational assistance. You will be exposed to all financial and accounting information systems to perform high-level data analysis and financial reporting. You may also be asked to take an active part in planning, coordinating, researching, and analyzing financial accounting projects, as needed. EXPERIENCE: 5 years of related accounting experience; SPECIAL SKILLS: Highly skilled in data collection and analysis with advanced Excel knowledge (pivot tables and complex formulas). Responsible for understanding and utilizing all accounting information systems including general ledger, management reporting, budgeting, and capital tracking systems. OTHER: Takes ownership of job, proactively responding to commitments. Takes specific actions to improve own work methods or systems. Develops and implements new and unique ideas. Demonstrates through verbal and non-verbal communications openness to change or new ideas. Demonstrates flexibility to fluctuating workload and effectively prioritizes assignments. Exhibits a positive attitude in support of the hospital and management, including decisions made by administration and/or management. Embraces continuous learning.
