Job Description

SLUCare Physician Group, a member of SSM Health is actively recruiting for a full-time Academic Geriatric Physician. SLUCare Physician Group geriatric specialists are internationally recognized experts on aging. As physician researchers and educators with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, our doctors have developed geriatric assessment tools and techniques used throughout the world. 

Job Details

• Clinical opportunities include ambulatory medicine clinics, long-term and skilled nursing facilities, and inpatient care. 
• Teaching and oversight of students, residents and fellows in all clinical care sites.
• Support for geriatric medicine and palliative care fellowship programs. 
• Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm academic/clinical services

Unique practice activities and opportunities

• Academic practice at a Level 1 trauma center
• Longstanding geriatric medicine fellowship: 35 years of geriatric medicine and over 140 fellows trained
• Academically active at national meetings for AMDA, AGS, AAHPM
• Active GWEP HRSA grant
