The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwell Health is seeking a System Chief of Maternal Fetal Medicine for the Health System as we expand our Women’s Health services. The Department is nationally recognized for its excellence in clinical care, research and medical education. We are a consultative practice with a diverse work environment including office and inpatient high risk pregnancy consultation, ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, and operative obstetrics. We collaborate closely with pediatric subspecialists at adjacent Cohen Children’s Medical Center in caring for pregnancies with complex congenital heart disease and a broad range of fetal conditions.
Position Highlights & Key Responsibilities:
Join an award-winning Health System that serves 3 million individuals annually across New York and Connecticut, supported by a diverse network of 14,500 providers, including 45 MFM Attendings and 12 MFM fellows,
Provide strategic leadership for all aspects of the MFM Division, driving initiatives that enhance clinical programs, quality, safety, and the overall patient experience,
Participate in departmental and hospital committees, collaborating closely with neonatology, pediatric subspecialties, and other multidisciplinary teams to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes,
Deliver comprehensive clinical care, practicing the full scope of the MFM subspecialty across both inpatient and outpatient high risk obstetric services,
Recruit, mentor, supervise, and support medical students, residents, fellows, faculty and staff to foster professional development and team excellence, and
Advance the Division’s academic mission by leading projects, promoting research, and contributing to scholarly publications and presentations, while cultivating a culture of inquiry, innovation, and collaboration
