You will be delivering exceptional care to patients with chronic acute liver disease in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver flawless care to patients in the Hepatology Transplant department.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic test interpretations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and effectively communicate them to patients and their families.
• Perform procedures such as staple and suture removal, surgical wound care, and wound vac dressing changes as needed.
• Monitor patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction.
• Actively participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives to advance patient outcomes.
• Provide patient education on disease management, lifestyle modifications, and medication adherence.

Education:

• Master?s of Nursing Degree (MSN) required
• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required

License/Certification:

• Current State of California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing License required
• National certification as an NP required
• Current BLS certification
• DEA license required

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years working in acute care nursing OR 2 years serving as a Nurse Practitioner required
• Experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred
• Experience with transplant or hepatology patients desired
