IU Health Medical Group in the East Region is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant to join our experienced Hematology Oncology team. This position is located in Muncie Indiana. 

Position Details:

• Full-time- 40 hours total per week
• No Call Schedule
• 90% Outpatient
• 10% Inpatient
• Team: 7 physicians, 5 Advanced Practice Providers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Follow providers plan of care
• Assess patients
• Offer recommendations according to scope and provider direction
• Candidate must have great communication skills, patience and compassion

Patient Population:

• Patients with blood disorders or cancer

Qualifications:

• ACNP, FNP, or PA REQUIRED
• Must have at least 1 year of oncology experience, and/ or possible critical care experience 
• Must have APP experience
• Ideal candidate should have at least 1 year of experience as an APP caring for Oncology and benign Hematology patients
