The Director of Regulatory Oversight provides enterprise-level leadership for all Facilities Management regulatory compliance activities, including The Joint Commission (TJC), CMMS, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements. This role is accountable for ensuring continuous compliance through rigorous documentation, audit readiness, and performance monitoring while driving process improvement, change management, and productivity initiatives across the FM department.

As a member of the senior Facilities Management Operations leadership team, the Director applies sound fiscal stewardship and productivity strategies in alignment with organizational procurement policies and best practices. The position directly supervises hospital-based Regulatory Oversight Teams, Electricians, Fire Safety Technicians, CMMS staff and supporting contractors/vendors, fostering cohesive, high-performing teams with a strong culture of accountability, accuracy, and risk reduction. The role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate regulatory requirements into sustainable operational practices.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business, or a related field required.
• Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) required, or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
• Equivalent experience and professional certifications may be considered in lieu of formal education.
• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in healthcare facilities regulatory compliance strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and statistical reporting, with the ability to translate metrics into actionable insights.
• Proven excellence in written and verbal communication, interpersonal engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience in organizational development, strategic planning, or large-scale change initiatives preferred.
• Demonstrated success in problem-solving and implementing new programs that improve operational accuracy, efficiency, and organizational risk mitigation.
• Advanced proficiency in CMMS platforms, regulatory compliance tools, and Microsoft Office applications, with the ability to produce accurate regulatory reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
