The Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Nurse Midwife to join its team. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive care, including formulating and implementing prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, newborn, and interconceptional services, in accordance with the nurse midwife scope of practice. Responsibilities also include educating and working with residents, delivering direct clinical care to mothers and babies, participating in quality and performance improvement initiatives, engaging in clinical research, and educating patients and families throughout the continuum of care. All care will be delivered in alignment with standing orders, policies, procedures, and protocols established for certified nurse midwives.Candidates must be eligible for Florida State licensure as APRN-CNM. Must be Certified as a Nurse Midwife, and APRN License must be active and unencumbered prior to employment. Master?s degree is preferred.

The schedule includes 8-hour outpatient shifts, as well as 12-hour and/or 24-hour shifts, with weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating basis. This is a full-time employed position that offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.
