We are seeking a highly motivated ED Pharmacistto join our inpatient pharmacy team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care for the emergency department and all associated areas. Responsibilities include preparing and dispensing medications, verifying medication orders and patient records, counseling patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize safe and effective medication therapy. You will deliver advanced clinical services such as attending codes, pharmacokinetic dosing, therapeutic interchange, IV to PO conversions, TPN and aminoglycoside monitoring, and pharmacist-led interventions for neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. Additional duties involve overseeing controlled substance management, contributing to clinical or operational projects in coordination with pharmacy leadership, and collaborating with both centralized and decentralized pharmacy units.

Schedule: 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off (including weekends and holidays)
Hourly Salary Range: $86.32 - $107.31 (Union represented, step-based salary depending on years of experience)

Qualifications
We’re seeking a dedicated clinical professional with:
Pharm D. degree and current CA Pharmacy license.
ASHP-accredited residency (PGY-2 in emergency medicine or critical care preferred).
2 years inpatient pharmacy experience (highly preferred).
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational and follow-through skills.
Knowledge of and ability to perform age specific and disease specific pharmacokinetic calculations.
Ability to compound intravenous admixtures and other sterile products.
