Indiana University Health Medical Group Department of Neurology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialized care for patients with headache disorders in a neurology practice, working alongside a fellowship trained headache specialist. Focus on comprehensive management of migraine, cluster headache, occipital neuralgia, and other headache and facial pain syndromes. Key Responsibilities:
Full-time, Dayshift - Monday through Friday; 8am to 5pm
No night or weekend call
Position is 100% Outpatient, practicing at Goodman Hall
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with various headache disorders and related syndromes
Provide ongoing follow-up care and management for established headache patients
Adjust and optimize medication regimens, including preventive and acute therapies
Perform procedures including botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine management
Assess and address behavioral and lifestyle factors contributing to migraine and headache disorders
Deliver comprehensive patient education on headache treatment options and self-management strategies
Participate in limited clinical duties within the epilepsy monitoring unit
Qualifications:
ACNP, AGNP, FNP or PA certification required
Neurology and/or clinical trial research experience is preferred
