Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesWe are looking for a Full Time Nocturnist to join our team!
- 180 shifts per year (primary schedule 7 on 7 off) consisting of purely nights (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
- Three nocturnists are assigned during these shifts currently and the team is looking to add a fourth, affording a manageable workload. In addition, there are 3 residents/interns in the team.
- Average admissions 24/night for the whole team
- Primary responsibility is on-site adult (admit and cross cover) inpatient care. Superb inhouse subspecialty support. Magnet hospital - rarely need to transfer a patient out!
- Academic affiliation with the Internal Medicine residency program at Creighton University School of Medicine at Phoenix.
- Collaborative and cohesive hospitalist team with near 100% retention rate and exponential growth.
- Cerner EMR links all of our outpatient and inpatient facilities, with plans to transition to EPIC from 2027.
- Very competitive AMGA compensation model includes Base salary + Night incentive + wRVU productivity incentive + Quality Incentive.
- Paid malpractice, Generous annual CME stipend, Excellent benefit package.
- Closed ICU with 24/7 intensivists; ventilator management, procedures, running codes not required.
Job Requirements- MD or DO Degree
- BC/BE
- Must have or be eligible for Arizona State medical licensure
- Completed ACGME Residency training with current ABMS Board Certification
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
